Champagne french toyota redux

2 Food service aggression redux
Part of the reason why I love working food service, and particularly at Champagne French Bakery and Cafe in the Winter of 2016-2017 was because you get so much control over a vital life force, eating and drinking, over strangers at the restaurant. If a customer is too pushy or makes you want to pull your hair out, you can do subtle things, like add extra shots to their coffee, or eat their leftover French toast in the walk-in refrigerator where no one can see you.
One time, when I was mad at a customer, I gave them like two or three extra espresso shots in their coffee to spite them. My shift supervisor at the time, Armando, came back with the lattes and was like, "you're going to give them -(gestures with his hand over his chest)- a heart attack." That's the point, I secretly thought to myself. Maybe I even cackled internally a bit.
And that's the truth, maybe I just want to give the customers a heart attack for looking me in the eye the wrong way sometimes. es lo que obtienen...
3 Police-ing the rain/Police in the Rain
It just rained in California for like two seconds. California has been in a drought since I was a teenager. It just rained for like two seconds in California, and I was excited for a moment, and then it started drizzling, and then it stopped. The sun has been so oppressive for so many years. I noticed though, this time, that there were something like police or ambulance sirens as the rain started, almost immediately as the rain started. It was almost as if the police were policing the rain, as if in California rain is not allowed. I feel like a lot of Californians are somehow against rain, in an emotional way too, as if being sunny every day like it is in Philadelphia isn't depressing too.
And after the rain subsided for a couple of seconds, it started to drizzle, almost like the rain was starting to evaporate into thin air. And it seemed like the sirens started again as soon as the rain was starting to emanate again from the ether. Unfortunate. :( La lluvia siempre se detiene en California recientemente. #雨

4 My Toyota Camry 2009...RIP :((
I used to have this beautiful blue Toyota Camry from 2009 that I drove around my little town, and to Los Angeles once and again. (It, incidentally, was the same car that my high school choir teacher drove. Shout out Mr. Rose.) At first, when I had moved out in the winter of 2016/2017, I had bought a car on craigslist for $700, but the brakes broke as I was driving through the Malibu hills (and the car came to a stop right before the PCH).
After this occurred, my mom let me use the family Camry, which was azure blue and light grey on the insides. I loved this car, until I totaled it in 2020 before briefly going to the Vista Del Mar Hospital in Ventura. (So that is why I said "Toyota redux" in the title of this blog. I don't really know what redux means or is for, but is sounds cool.)
5 Like for a TBH
TBH, I kind of miss this era lol...Although I was kind of high like all the time and was probably not a good server to the customers, at all. But that's the fun of it! I kind of do sincerely working at the café though. It was kind of fun and the music was bumping. It was like French and vibe-y. And I missed the rushes, even though they were kind of stressful. When there were like a bunch of people (3 people in line, and only one person at the cash register, even though that doesn't rly sound like a lot, could be really stressful, especially if there are still like 5 people waiting for their food outside, and you still have to bring someone ketchup). Also, not to be too nostalgic, but during that time I had like all these bobby pins in my hair to keep it back and it was cunt. lol
